Mercedes rebadged the Sprinter as a Dodge, does selling off Chrysler mean that Sprinters will once again be Mercedes vehicles?

Will Chrysler be allowed to continue making the SLK-ish Crossfire?

I love that particular shape and style of Jag, but I'm afraid to pursue that passion for fear of wild and uncontrolled repairs and defects.
Is that justified though?
Just how bad are these cars?
I don't really need a car at all, I just use them to go shopping and to restaurants and on holidays every now and then. I live in southern New Zealand by the sea, a climate which, I suppose, should be just right for a car from England.
Should I go for it? What do you think?

Asian cars are great for "utilitarian" use, but they never seem to garner any sort of collectiveness, despite being so reliable. Why is this?

I personally love what Ford used to be. I have owned allot of Fords trucks, cars and vans form the 60's to the 90's there 60's models were awesome, the 70's were great too, then after the mid 1980's they started turning into unreliable cars. I personally would never buy a Ford again. New or otherwise. My family still did in 2000 and now wishes they would have listen to me and bought a Honda or Toyota, I used to work in a junk yard so i know junk! ( NO the cars i owned were not from the junk yard) It's is sad i would much rather buy American but I can’t afford the repair bills and gas! Chevy seems to be on a similar path but not quite as bad,

I plan on buying an SUV for both commuting and off-roading. The off-roading won't just be on dirt roads however, but sand dunes, mud, over rocks, etc. I'm confused as to why they say 4WD is better in this situation than AWD. Assume here that both are the same type of frame - truck frames or car frames.

I heard that a car bought a lot back in the day was called a Pinto. It almost always blew up when u crashed into it. And also that a lot of families bought it, so lots of ppl died in that cursed car. Why did it explode?

Also, KIA (The car company), the funny looking A in Greek lettering is like an L to us, so KIA is actually KILL! An ironic thing about that is i've heard somewhere that people die the most in KIA cars! Spooky ain't it?
