In general, Toyota's Supra's engine is built a lot tougher than the Nissan sky line. Supra's Stock engine/transmission can handle up to 1000 horsepower with just a bigger Turbo and exhause mod, while the Skyline can only hold up to 650.
however, in a pofessional track race, the Skyline will out run the Supra, because it has a AWD drive train with an Superior Handling that can match the Porche 911 Turbo.
while a supra can out run the Skyline on a straight road.
Up to ur personal preference, its handling vs speed...
I like the Supra better, Just one and Only reason is:
"IT'S A TOYOTA!!"

These two rivalry cars have been at each other for a while and never seem to have a winner determined between the two. The Supra is well crafted by Toyota, sadly ending production in 2002. The Supra has its specialties compared to the Skyline. The Supra can hold more horsepower with just a few modifications than the Skyline. The Supra can also act much quicker on the track. The Supra featured two new engines, which were the naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE 220 hp (164 kW) and 210 ft·lbf (285 N·m) of torque and a twin turbocharged 2JZ-GTE making 276 bhp (239 kW), 260 ft·lbf (427 N·m) of torque. The Turbo was actually quoted to have 320 bhp, as the cars in the Japan market can only declare up to 276. The turbocharged variant could achieve 0–60 mph in as low as 4.6 seconds and 1/4 mile (402 m) in 13.1 seconds at 109 mph. The turbo version was tested to reach over 289 kph (180 mph) all-stock. The Skyline too had left production in 2002.The Skyline however has the better side. The Skyline's weight and 4WD powertrain are no match for the Supra. The Skyline has also more models than the Supra, not to mention that they are better, such as the GT-R with a 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 332 PS (244 kW, 392 Nm), GT-R V-Spec with Additional aero parts, brake ventilation ducts, and diffuser, the GT-R V-Spec II that has a carbon fiber bonnet with NACA duct, and the GT-R Z-tune - 2.8 L RB26DETT Z2 twin-turbo I6, 500 PS (368 kW, 540 Nm) Z1 and Z2 by Nismo, who had also made the R-Tune. These models are the main models as they're are a few more. The Skyline also has the better tuning capabilities and more companies prefer the Nissan Skyline as well. The Nissan Skyline was dubbed as the "Godzilla" of Japan and other countries. However the Supra doesn't have as much and the Skyline can easily surpass the Supra. My decision is the Skyline, no doubt. This debate however has some difficulty too on what to decide. My Evo and the WRX are similar rivals as such with the Supra and Skyline. Although the Supra and Skyline have many advantages, neither Japanese tuners can really be differentiated and decided upon as easily.

For years, the Nissan Skyline and the Toyota Supra has been competing for sales in Japan, 1st place finishes in motorsports, and popularity in video games such as the Need For Speed video game series and the Gran Turismo video games. I like both the Nissan Skyline and the Toyota Supra, but I have to go with the Toyota Supra, because the car has more horsepower than a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, is cheaper to get (since the car is sold in America), and more stylish. Unfortunately, the Toyota Supra is discontinued in 1998, and the Nissan Skyline is sold only in Japan, and if you try to import a Nissan Skyline into the United States, then it will cost you a lot of money (I found a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 for $65,000 on eBay), and it will even cost you more money if you convert it to left-hand drive. So, I would go for the Toyota Supra, but maybe you should do some more research on the Toyota Supra and the Nissan Skyline before you buy either one of them.

Nissan Skylines and Toyota Supras skill is countless, those are notorious automobiles time-honored as ferarri killers. they could really be modded, and benefit as a lot as one thousand hp. the merely reason you do not see skylines as a lot is because they could't be legallized for circulate considering they're from japan and performance to be imported into the U. S., as of supras they were bought right here and are really legalized for utilising, yet some speculated that were discontinued contained in the U. S. because they could easility outrun police officers, in case your searching to purchase that supra, have a minimum of 25-35 grand on your pocket for a un-modded inventory toyota supra, and a touch left over for maintenence considering that is a very events motor vehicle and maintenence is needed solid success

I watched a video of racecar drivers racing a stock skyline, supra, and mazda rx-7. The first 2 laps, the RX-7 was winning because of its great handling, but the rx-7 ended up losing against the skyline and supra because it did not have enough muscle to get up the hills. The skyline ended up winning.

You mean like which is better stock? Compare a 1993 Supra TT and a 1999 Skyline-R34 GT-R.

Horsepower: Supra wins 326 Hp vs Skyline's 320 HP
Weight: Skyline wins 1540kg vs Supra1565 kg
Displacement: Supra wins 2997cc vs Skyline's 2568cc
0 - ¼ mile: Supra wins 13.5sec vs Skyline's 13.7sec
0 - 60 mph: Supra wins 5sec vs. Skyline's 5.2sec
0 - 100 mph: Supra wins 11.8sec vs Skyline's 13.0sec
Powertrain: Skyline's 4WD win's vs Supra's RWD (in my opinion 4WD better at the track)

So there you have it Supra wins! Plus they look better!

Depends on what you are looking for I guess. If I'm correct, the Skyline is faster (aren't they only in Japan though?) but I think the Supra looks better.
