have any military ships been lost to bad weather lately? i don't think ive ever heard of any navy ship being lost in a bad storm. obviously they watch for bad weather but if a storm were detected, how probably would it be to avoid it given a short distance and what are the odds of it making it through? thanks

I have a plastic 15 foot colmen cannoe that comes with : two paddles, three life jackets, two backwrests for the seats, and a homemade anchor and has no holes in it. I was wondering how much I should sell it for. I was thinking around $300 but if anyone thinks it should be worth less or more please tell me. thanks

I would like to know if anyone has heard of or owns a approx. 1929 Fellows and Stuart Brand Luxury Cabin Cruiser. My father bought one in 1982 and it was gorgeous, I haven't been able to find one or even a pictureof one anywhere. The name of our boat was "The Maudie B". It would be AWESOME to even find it. We bought it in Dana Point and crusised it up and Mored it at the tip of the Queen Mary in Long Beach Harbour.

I bought a 1975 Fantasy ski boat with a 302 ford, 175 hp. It has been sitting for over a year, so I am changing oil, plugs and gas. I want to make sure and get any old gas out of the bottom of the tank. What is the best way to do this?

I asked this a few weeks ago. The motor runs fine for the first mile or so then starts cutting out then will not rev past 1800rpm's (below 1800 rpm's it runs good with know mis). I put it in the shop and had them replace the stator, water pump, and they did some carb work. I'm suspect that they did the stator, the motor is still doing the same thing. I guess I need to know where the stator is located because the flywheel has not been removed. It is driving me nuts. Any ideas would be helpful.

How do I drain the oil in the motor since I can not really put anyhting under the motor to catch the oil, since it is in a boat.
