I have almost $70,000 in student loan debt. I get almost 10 offers a day to "Consolidate Your Loans before July 7th" I know I should, but does anybody know of a reliable and safe company to do that through? What about debt counciling for students?
Any help would be great!

When I was 22 I was advised to get life insurance. It's a $100,000 policy, but it gains interest over the years. I've been told I have living benifits of life insurance, and can pull money out when I reach retirement. Am I better off keeping this policy, or cancelling it and getting a ROTH-IRA? I turn 30 this year, and will get married next year. No children. Any thoughts?

My g/f are looking into buying a home of our own. neither of us have credit. we pay for everything in cash. we have 0 debt. no car payment nothing. we between the both of us we have been renting for about 3 years. we have never been late on a payment. with all this talk about "credit scores" and that it can save you thousands of $$$ if you know it, i am not sure how easy it is going to be to actaully get that much money loaned to us. we also will have a 10-15k down payment right off the start. oh i should also say we are both 21 also. so does anyone know if i can even get a mortgage?

Thanks guys

I am quite friviolous when it comes to my savings, but now that I have a summer job that is potentially able to begin a decent savings account, I'm afraid that I'll be wasteful and squander my savings. Is anyone else tempted to buy things just to buy? I'm heading to Mexico in January and have to save to pay for the trip. What are some methods to avoid spending fruitlessly??

I got an email from some guy in Johannasburg stating he has access to $36,000,000 in an account that belonged to someone who is now deceased and if I will open an account and give him the info he will give 25% of the money. NO!!! I'm not considering doing this as I am sure it's a scam. What I'm wondering is if it's also illegal and if so, who do I report/forward this email to?

Due to lifes ups and downs I find that I will still have a mortgage to pay when I retire in three and half years time. I am so worried it is ruining my life. I do have a private pension that I have been paying into and would like to know if I can use this to pay off the outstanding amount of my mortgage. I have been to a financial advisor but he was not very helpful I have to say.
