I have almost $70,000 in student loan debt. I get almost 10 offers a day to "Consolidate Your Loans before July 7th" I know I should, but does anybody know of a reliable and safe company to do that through? What about debt counciling for students?
Any help would be great!

Go to slcsloanhelp.com, they should be able to help you, it is a free service.

First, July 7th is absolutely too late to lock in lower interest rates. The deadline is June 30.

Myself, I am a grad and need to consolidate my loans before the deadline! So I went on a google hunt (I mean search ;). Unfortunately, now google has succumbed to a bunch of organic (regular results below the ads) search spammers. But eventually, I did find a site that has rated a few student loan consolidators, and says they have checked them out. Here's the web page: http://lendersrated.com/studentloans.htm

Hope it helps you...
