My wife is Cambodian. I think they should have to say press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish, 3 for Chinese, 4 German, 5 for Portugese, 6 for Cambodian, etc. It just enables the illegals, and others not to learn our culture.

A domain registrar (aplus.net) quoted me about $12 and then billed me $60 instead. I contacted them about it and they agreed to refund my money. But on the same day they refunded me, they billed me again for yet another $60! I checked my business email, and they even sent me a second invoice on that day. Obviously I was shocked, and emailed them again with more bank records and the invoice to show their mistake. But now they're denying charging me the second time!

I've contacted the BBB, but the company hasn't responded yet. Are there any other actions I can take to get a refund? I can't afford to just let this money go, especially around Christmastime. I put my business on hold so I can give my son autism therapy myself, since his official therapy program isn't ready yet. In the meantime, our family can't afford to let this slide, and I really would like to know if there's some option that I'm not thinking of. Thank you so very much!

I want to create a list of business categories and sub-categories that are most common/standard. For example:
Restaurant --> American --> Steak House ...
or
Business Services --> Consulting --> Management Consulting...

I've seen many sites that categorize businesses this way (e.g. yellowpages.com or yahoo.com)

I'm hoping there is some standard categorization with tools for importing/creating them in some common databases.
Thanks!

Net income for the year was $200,000.
Depreciation expense on plant and equipment was $50,000.
Plant and equipment with an original cost of $150,000 were sold for $64,000 (you will need to determine the book value of the assets sold).
Amortization expense on patents was $8,000.
Both new plant and equipment and patents were purchased for cash during the year.

Plant and equipment (2007) = 750,000 (2006) 500,000
Accumulated depreciation (2007) 160,000 (2006) 200,000
Patents (2007) 92,000 (2006) 80,000
Retained Earnings (2007) 825,000 (2006) 675,000

I need to find:
1. the gain/ loss on sale of plant and equipment
2. Acquisition of plant and equipment

Thank you very much

For example, i buy a five dollar card (which says no connection fees) to call overseas, on posters and online ads they state that i will get 42 minutes (it doesn't say aprrox.) and when i buy the card, all i get is half an hour, and thats if I use one time. If i were to talk 5 mins each call with the same card, the number of minutes actually given is much lower, 15 minutes. I'm not making up these figures, I recorded them exactly. Is it possible to sue them because as a frequent buyer of phone card, i've lost at least one thousand minutes, which can amount to hundreds of dollars.

Im learning about bonds, and i need someone to clarify some things for me. i dont know if this is right or not, but from what i have understood is that, when u purchase a bond, its present value is calculated, and it is less than the par value of the bond. so if i were to purchase a bond, do i pay the par or the present value? and the bond equals present value of par value + present value of interest annuity. so here is an example. the par value is 100$, let say interest is 34$. to buy it to day i pay 66$, then after it matures i get 100? or do i pay 100$ when i buy them? thanks
