Buy a Postal Money Order from the Post Office and send. Email the seller, inform him/her that you are sending a Money Order, and get their mail to address. Be sure to use one from the Post Office and not from a store, as all banks will take a Postal MO but will hold others.
I have a Pay Pal account, but sometimes send a Money Order for security purposes.
I tried to respond to your email, but it bounced, so I am placing my answer here:
The fastest way is to go to paypal and put in your Credit Card information. You can also set it up to come out of a checking account, but that takes longer to get the approvals.
Since you have your PayPal set up, all you have to do is click on your eBay item that you won, and tell it you want to pay for it. Select the PayPal option and it will automatically take you to PayPal. Since you do not have a credit card or checking account already set up, it should prompt you and have you fill out the information. Once you have done this, it will debit your card, and send payment to the individual listed on the eBay item. It is quite simple, so don't expect it to be a hassle.
One word of warning..... I get several emails a week telling me there is a problem with my PayPal account. These are ALWAYS from scammers trying to get your PayPal information, so NEVER respond to an email regarding it. If there is a problem with your account, PayPal will leave a email in your account. If the email you receive looks real, log into PayPay directly, do not use the link in the email.
Feel free to email me if you have further questions.
When you go into PayPal and set up your payment, you have an option to have it come out of your bank account. You will need to have your check book handy and will need to enter the information on the bottom of your check. (They will prompt you with directions of which numbers you need.) Once you do that, they will make a deposit (usually less than $1.00 sometimes less than $2.00) and you will use this deposit amount to confirm that your bank info is correct. (usually can do it in 24 hours, sometimes less, as long as not on the weekend.) Once you have confirmed that PayPal has your account correct, you can then use it to pay for your eBay item. (No credit card is ever needed for setting this up.)
Hope this helps

Opening a Pay Pal account is not that big a deal. I did it in about 5 minutes. You don't have to keep a balance in there, but you can if you want. It's a good idea ( or so it seems to me) because when you buy from an individual on E-Bay the seller never sees your info. I've used it several times (using my Visa card) and never had a problem with it.

You need to contact the seller and ask him or her if they'll accept any other form of payment. Setting up a PayPal account is EASY. You should have thought of this BEFORE you bid on the item.

Look at the buyers rating and reviews and also there return/ warranty policy... if it looks good and is for a fair price then go for it Refurbished is a product that was sent back to the manufacture and then was fixed into working order... ie it would be the ipods that people and stores send in to Apple for warranty exchange

contact the seller and asks if he takes money orders or anything like that, or credit cards directly.
