A domain registrar (aplus.net) quoted me about $12 and then billed me $60 instead. I contacted them about it and they agreed to refund my money. But on the same day they refunded me, they billed me again for yet another $60! I checked my business email, and they even sent me a second invoice on that day. Obviously I was shocked, and emailed them again with more bank records and the invoice to show their mistake. But now they're denying charging me the second time!

I've contacted the BBB, but the company hasn't responded yet. Are there any other actions I can take to get a refund? I can't afford to just let this money go, especially around Christmastime. I put my business on hold so I can give my son autism therapy myself, since his official therapy program isn't ready yet. In the meantime, our family can't afford to let this slide, and I really would like to know if there's some option that I'm not thinking of. Thank you so very much!

I paid with a debit card, am I also eligible for my bank to reverse the charges?

Contact your bank if you payed with a credit card they will deny payment and reimburse you.

If they try to put the charge through again the bank will stop it.

Keep pursuing it through them also as well as the BBB.

If you used paypal contact them, they will also protect you, paypal takes it from your credit card so they will be blocked from two fronts if that's how you paid.

Good Luck!

If you used a credit card, the credit card company can stop the charge if you protest or contest it.

If they automatically took it out of your bank account using electronic funds transfer, I would think that you can protest or contest it with your bank, and they should help you.
