We're currently looking to improve the response rate of staff surveys for this year. We have a section on the intranet for managers, in which we're hoping to include a 'top tips' for improving responses section which they can use to encourage their team to return the surveys.

Does anyone have any top tips we can use, or know of any articles etc that I can obtain some from?

Thanks

With the Europeans holding us since 7 years artifically over water, with 3 Billion Dollar a day to pay for the Bush wars and out of control consumption of Chinese crap, only flowing in, if the Fed keeps the interest rate up? Does the Fed fear, with lower interst rate, the Europeans would have finally enough, to pull out investing in the USA? Are we set for a total market correction, like we have never seen before?

If Countrywide or any other bank raised their relatively low CD rates, i'm sure they would be flooded with deposits. Countrywide just announced a $11.5 draw on their credit lines. I'm sure if Countrywide upped their CD rates to around the same rate that' s on the credit lines, around 6 1/2%, Countrywide could easily draw in $20+ billion in fresh deposits. In summary, I don't understand the headlines screaming "liquidity crisis" while banks are apparently not hurting at all for deposits and keeping their savings rates relatively low. Countrywide's highest yielding CD, for balances over $98,000, is 5.50%.

Hi, Thank You for viewing my question.

I need insight from people who graduate from college and is in the work force -or- is a employer.

Well lets say you want to take two years of community college and then transfer to a University.

Will you be at a disadvantage to a four year UC gradulate?

and if yes how much does it differ.

Thank you for helping a lost high school senor.

After being made redundant some time ago, i fell behind with my car payments, and unfortunatly have had my car repossesed. I was very suprised as i recieved no warning and thought we had reached an agreement on my payments. The probelm is that the company turned up at my house at 2am while is was out. Spoke to my brother and took the car without giving me any warning or opportunity to empty my personal belongings from the car. I have since been told that as i still have the keys, i must travel many miles to the place that is holding the car for auction, and collect the things myself. But this is impossible as i have no transport and the cost of travel is more than i can afford at the moment. I have things in the car that i need urgently, and also things like my passport and private bank documents. What should i do???

In construction, company's are often faced with retentions (both receivable and payable) outstanding for long periods, regularly over 12 months after balance sheet date. It appears as though these retentions are however still classified as "current" in terms of IFRS. I would however argue that the normal operating cycle of a construction company ends before the settlement of all the retentions, and that these could thus partially be classed as non-current? Any comments to back this up or against this argument?
