I have found top brand electrical items from China selling on Ebay for a fraction of the cost they are selling at from UK based sellers. People seem to be wary of purchasing goods from far overseas. I am thinking of doing a deal with a Chinese seller whereby they send items in bulk and I sell from the UK, then send the profits to him, keeping a percentage for myself. I have already purchased an item from this seller and it was excellent. Does anyone know if this process is legal? (eg tax, customs laws).

I'm starting a new job, a professional one, but surprisingly most of my superiors rarely wear ties or strictly business clothes. They certainly don't wear jeans but I'm used to looking more professional and want to convey my work ethic in my presentation. I'm concerned, however, that dressing more professionally (and I'm just talking about a standard business suit) than them could cause them to think that I somehow view myself as better or something stupid like that. Am I just being paranoid, or what is the best way to approach this? Thanks

I live in Indiana, I'm filing chapter 7 bankruptcy, found another home I would love to buy, and that I can actually afford this time! I've been told that it is possible to buy a house even one day after disclosure, does anyone know of a mortgage company that will do this?

I've held on to it for a long time. but unfortunately, the time is come where I could use the money more than I can stand to hold on to this comic. the comic itself isn't like an ultra rare comic. it's not #1 or anything. but it is signed by the author. i can't even remember the guy's name at the moment. i don't think it's stan lee. anyway, if i take it in to my local comic book store, i'm willing to bet that they aren't gonna pay much for it. should i ebay this item?

I live on long island. I need the money. I'd rather do this in person than on the internet because i need the money right away. I'm not even sure how much it's worth but it's an electric guitar. it's gotta be worth at least 200. what do you suggest I do? cold call every music store in the area? how do i know if i'm being ripped off? or, how can i find the value of my guitar?

Anybody have any experience using Access USA to purchase goods in the US and have them shipped abroad? I'm especially interested in certain foodstuffs (the non-perishable kind). There are so many things available by mail order to US residents that you just can't get here in the UK, and Access USA advertises that they not only ship international where the merchant will not, but that the cost is up to 70% cheaper AND they have a facility for getting around that foreign credit card number. I'd like to sign up with them but first want to know if anybody outside of the US (especially in Europe) has used them, and if so, what their experience was like.

Since Somerfield demergering it's Kwik Save Brand in 2005 to a company call BTTF it seems that my local store has just deteriorated since then. There only ever seems to be essentials thats needed such as milk, bread etc. but i can never seem to find anything else that i need. Stocks are low on everything and now i think it's just a joke tha the store can open as all that seems to be there is racking and just odd bits of stock.. staff are lying about doing nothing.. they're fed up with no customers.. it used to thrive with customers.. now its just nothing.. iv been in search of answers but i cant find anything.. does anyone know if Kwik-save will continue to exist in the near future?

I was curious if these gift cards were available only online or if you can find them offline, too?

-- Amazon.com
-- Half.com

I like doing transactions offline and not online. I'm not big on giving out credit card information or anything out over the internet. I'd really appreciate some help, thanks!
