Should I get Term Life and invest the difference in other investments such as Roth IRA and perhaps even leverage some money as down payment towards a property? A considerable amount of premiums go into commissions and EIUL account expenses. Is it worth it? There are seminars that are promoting cashing out home equity and invest it in EIUL. Need some guidance. Will appreciate it. Thanks

Which is a better investment and will give you the most interest? I was considering putting some money in the bank. I will not need it for a while and I would be most concerned with the interest rates. Please tell me about these and which is better to invest in?

I am going to use the exercise and sell option from Fidelity Investment's online service. Before I execute the transaction it tells me that all taxes, fees, and commissions are included in the estimate that they give me and that the money will be put into my Fidelity account. What I want to know is, besides the check writing fee, when I write a check to myself from this account am I going to be charged with more taxes and fees?

Are there any investors experienced at trading stocks on the London stock exchange? I got an application package in the mail from SELFTRADE.UK The y require NO minimum opening deposit/balance. Only sufficient funds to make actual trades. The commission is 12.50 pounds. When you do the USD/GBP conversion comes out to about $25.00. Even though some of the stocks listed on the FTSE fluctuate daily, weekly enough to make trading "seem" worth the effort (when you factor in the conversion rate)? They also offer mutual funds, unit trusts, etc. Would there interest rates factor into this? would this be profitable?

I have found that purchasing these coins with a small premium over melt value that these I have found to be very lucritive. Usually you can sell them at a minimum of $1000.00, in other words they want $1000.00 worth at the time if you sell. French 20 francs gold content is .1867 .900 fine. Approximately 1/5 oz pure gold. There's French 20 francs, Swiss 20 francs. And the thing is that these coins cannot be confiscated by the U.S. government and they don't have to be reported. At 611.00 an oz for gold these coins can be bought for around 125.00-140.00 per coin. My advice is to buy as many as you can. mjp31774.....good luck.

that can garantee no loss in your starting investment and will most likely give you a higher interest rate than a regular cd account. From the answers I got they all said there was no such thing. But I came across this article when going threw some investing sites.

"Stock Market CDs pay interest based upon the gain in a related stock market index. These unique CDs permit investors to capture the upside possibilities of the market index but avoid the down-side risk. In other words, you can "play the market" but not worry about losing your starting investment because the deposit is FDIC insured and you are guaranteed to get back your original investment. Early withdrawals may be permitted and these CDs can be sold or can be redeemed fully upon the death of an owner or co-owner. CDs sold prior to maturity or withdrawn early are subject to market conditions and could result in a loss."

So what do you guys think about that?

I have a home loan 180,000 at 5.25% for 30 years. I could pay off the loan by the time i'm 57 if I pay 500 extra a month. i could then retire at that age.
or should I invest it in CD's because the money is more liquid.
Is there a better option to invest if i could invest $500 month.
I am really confused what do you think?
