Has anyone working for a major U.S. corporation had a good practice for breaking down the silos that exist between business units and corporate functions? If so, would you share your success stories and methods used? What kind of culture fosters good cross company collaboration? Are their dashboards that measure this? Good books or articles on the topic?

We are merchant exporters from India. We export Grains, Pulses, Spices, Fruits & Vegetables to Switzerland. We now wish to set up a branch office in Switzerland & other European Countries. We require consultants who would assist us in meeting the legal, economic and all other norms which might be required by the government of these countries. we are not looking at Embassies as they are not well-versed with the ground realities of conducting business in their respective countries.

guys, I really needed a solution, I have received a mail from Mrs. Fatima Sheikh(wife of the formal gas company owner). She is 68 years old.Her husband died last year, and she got 25 million dollars from him after he died. But then she found out that she had cancer, and she is not likely to survive from now till 2 month later. So she wrote me a mail, and asked me to distribute this 25 million to African countries after she dies, she has already found Sir Alexander as my attorny, but the problem is that I am still in high school, and it is not possible that I go to Africa to collect the funds. And besides now I am really scared, and I donnot know if I should be the right person to do take this responsibility, even though it is lucrative. But I just cannot leave her helpless. what am I supposed to do? I have lost my options.

Nothing like coming in on a Friday morning to find out for the past two weeks of work you have done.....poured so much time and energy....only to find out it was for nothing. Why? Because the boss has not back bone!

1. Go to amazon.com

2. When you're at the welcome page, scroll to the bottom until you see a whole bunch of links.

3. Click the "Directory of All Stores" link.

4. It will take to new page. Scroll all the way to the bottom until you see the copyright notice.

5. Directly under 1996 in the copyright notice is a small invisible link. Click on it. (If you can't seem to find it, that doesn't mean it's not there. Try holding down the tab key. This will highlight all the buttons on the page. I'm not sure if this works on all browsers though. I know it works on explorer.)

6. It will take you to a secret hidden web page in honor one of their old employees.

Pretty cool huh?

If so, how does this work if company from TX want to acquire company from CA?

Or not make as much because of it. These people are qualified as much as or more thann other people as far as their abilities are concerned, but just look a way that might cause your customers not to do buisness with you due to their fears, and predjudices. My questions like this keep getting deleted for somereason. I'm not sure why, I think the people that do it just either miss understand what I'm trying to get at, or they are all for supporting customers predjucices.

If you went into a store like Wal-Mart and stole a candy bar, you would be arrested, and yet Wal-Mart and other retail stores scan items at a higher price then the item was marked.
I have caught this many times.
Is'nt THAT stealing too?
