Nothing like coming in on a Friday morning to find out for the past two weeks of work you have done.....poured so much time and energy....only to find out it was for nothing. Why? Because the boss has not back bone!

U right buddy, There are some sure things you should have in your boss or else you suffer. 1. he must be much more educated then you. 2. he must be senior by atleast three levels than you. 3. He must be atleast 10 years elder then you. If your boss does not possess these qualities remember he will always be in the mood to compare himself with you and will never recognise your work, second and the worst part is that he will always compete with you & never evaluate value of your efforts.

Maybe you're better. I worked for a man for two years and within those two years I also have poured in all of my energy and time in his company.
If for instance the photocopy machine had run out of printing paper (something he can replace when finished) he used vogul language at me and every end of the month it was always the same story - he never paid me on time, he always had to be 3 or 5 days late with my cheque.
Whenever he was out of town and people phoned looking for him I'd tell them he was of of town and I'd get shouted at for letting them know he's out of town and if I don't tell them that he's out of town then still I'd get shouted at for not letting them know he was out of town and these are only a few examples. So my dear you're not the only one with a boss from hell. Luckily for me I got another job and my new boss is the greatest. Unfortunately for you all I can say is keep looking for another job and ones you get it grab it with both hands. Good luck and my sympathy goes out to you.

That really sucks. I get really irritated when that happens to me. I'm usually pretty vocal if I find that I wasted time on a project.

Now to answer your question...My boss just moved across country to another job and I miss him a lot. He drove me crazy in other ways. I had a huge crush on him.
