The ansewer is a real big YES, I look at it as to my own pocket book not some invester/what ever. I buy food at walmart which is 19 miles from home and I save a bundle even tho there is a qfc/kroger three blocks from my home, Iam not going to donate money to make local busness's happy I work hard for my money and could care less what wal-mart does with their empoyees or how they do there buying, sympathy and patriotic go only so far. And I also belong to a credit union as the banks in my area charge for everything and are very arigant,

I think Walmart has way too much power already, let alone being in the banking industry. Anyone who thinks Walmart is helping the economy hasn't researched them very well.

In my opinion No.

Wal-Mart is affecting alot the US economy, if it comes into the banking industry, it will be a terrible thing.

No. It would give them an unfair advantage. Banks could not compete for the Walmart crowd.
