I have to go to work in a hospital. There is never enough help. The techs who are supposed to be helping me out sit on their rear ends mad because the nurses tell them what to do. On a weekend, the support staff never want to do their jobs. I have to argue to get tests done because it is Sunday and no one from other depts want to come on. The desk clerk always puts my orders in wrong and I end up staying late for hours to get them put in right. Sometimes she just simply doesnt put them in at all.
I am so dreading tommorrow. Any suggestions?

I especially want to see the answers from those who don't trust the oil / gas industry, but of course it's best if everyone answers.

Gasoline prices were very low at other times as well during the last 50 years, even adjusted for inflation. I remember when it was $0.16 / Gallon in the mid 1950's

I now have an extreamly stressful, demanding job that is driving me nuts! Fortunately, I just had an interview for a much better job all the way around, and have a 2nd interview on Monday. I could care less if I go back to the "hell hole", and I have had my vacation long planned for this upcoming week, months before this interview. If I find out on Monday I get the job, I can start a week from Tuesday. Can my boss denie me my vacation pay if I leave the job I have now after vacation to start the new job? He knows I had the interview, and I am not happy there. He told me, in a sincere manor, not to worry about a two week notice if I do get the position. I don't know if it is actually a law that employers are obligated to pay the vacation pay, even if the employee may want to use it as part of their notice.

Ok, so I get that the HP management team is in legal hot water but what happens to the "former" HP board members that made the leaks to the media. They gave away proprietary information. Isn't there a legal ruling against that? I think they should be held just as accountable.

Here's the language...."Vendor compiles information from visitors of Company’s websites and information provided by Company from its customers (collectively “User Information”). All User Information is stored in Vendor’s database. Vendor takes precautions to ensure that User Information is kept private and uses industry-accepted encryption methods to protect User Information that is stored within Vendor’s database. Vendor cannot, however, guarantee the security of User Information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of User Information at any time."

Just wondering if this was standard. I think they should be liable if they could have prevented.

Thanks for any help.

One of our co - worker cried about his family problems like mother's ill health, son's education etc etc and asked a good amunt of money as help on returnable basis.

However, after getting his share of help, he became unresponsive and slowly it is turning into bad debt.

The worry is the change in our perception to help other people bcos of his bad habit of not paying the dues on the time. Hence to safeguard self, this question.

We have decided not to argue, ask and confront him.
