I am looking for some rule-of-thumb information for expectable advertising revenues for a consumer-oriented, medical website. Banner advertising can be quite well-targetted within the site. Advertisers will include pharmaceutical companies, medical product companies, hospitals, other medical facilities, physicians, and health insurers and related health financing companies. I'm looking to get a rule of thumb approximation of expectable advertising revenue per user or per visit perhaps with a low-medium-high range, as different sites will of course be able to charge higher rates than others.
