i'm 14 and am getting ready to be a sophmore. (today was the last day of school of freshman year!)

well one of my good guy friends whom i have a crush on is leaving for college aug. 1st of course i want to write him a letter but what should i say?? PLEASE help. cuz i like one of his friends/my best guy friend who is going to be a sophmore like me and goes to taekwondo with us both. (he is SUPER SHY though.)

I have been wearing acrylic nails for the past 5 years and rarely get fills, I just get a new set. Well, I'm having a baby in the next month so I want to stop wearing the acrylics. I took them off about a week ago, and now my nails are splitting, so I keep clipping them short .. but they are very dry. How can I get moisture and strength to them? I don't plan on having acrylics for at least the next 6 months.

On the America's Next Top Model, the ladies who are trying to make it in the Modeling Industry were really skinny. Is this something that is becoming the new "beautiful"? When you see an actress who is losing a large amount of weight, the first thing you see in the magazines is that they are "anorexic". Why is it a must to be super skinny as a model, but any normal person would be called " anorexic"?

After searching the internet for quite a while, I have seen many mixed opinions on dealing with upper lip hair. (Without shaving or waxing)

I have extremely tan skin and my hair is very black. I'm not sure if bleaching would help because my skin is tan, not light.

What should I do so this hair is not noticeable? Appropriate answers only please.
(And yes, I am a female. Embarrassing, I know)

A Mary Kay lady did a facial for me and a I bought a few products I liked, but she is really pressuring me to become a sales consultant, saying it's only an hour or two a week, I can get a free car and prizes and that I will hardly ever be away from my family. I'm 18 and i love red lipstick but nvr got the guts to wear it coz i think it suits older woman,but would it look old on me if i put on just the normal not too bright/not too dark red lipstick w/o any gloss?
Coz i do not like gloss or shine in my red lipstick..coz i thought a little gloss or shine suits teenagers better?..i have almost black hair and normal fair skin..anyway,my mum says red lipstick doesn't suit young girls at all,urgh..
