ive a white halter dress w/ (blue) flowers around hem, blue coat 2 go w/ it. any other suggestions 4 stuff? nail polish? hair?

Hi there,
Stick with the blue and white theme. Try to find some long blue beads (that match the blue in your dress) and you could get a blue and white flower/hair accessory. Why don't you try matching blue nail polish (if it's baby blue) - that would look gorgeous or you could have a french manicure with white tips. Try and find one really loud, unusual accessory and stick with that especially if your dress is quite simple. But considering your halter neck dress, I suggest you don't wear a necklace so a bracelet or hair piece may be. That would be just, wow!
You should, of course, wear heels - pumps don't really look right with prom dresses (or you could do Lily Allen trainers!?). But if you're above 5 foot 8, wear a max. of 2 inch kitten heels - you don't want to be taller than your man, or indeed anyone else there! Don't go too high even if you're really small - it'll just give off the totally wrong effect - 4 inch heels maximum, and even then - that's pushing it! And you'll totter around like Barbie and probably fall over in the process..
