I love my husband to death, but he is a notoriously casual dresser. On a normal basis, I don't really care, but even when we go out, his idea of dressing up is his cleanest jeans and a newer T-shirt under his hoodie. I understand his wanting to be comfortable after spending all day in his uniform, but I would like him to look nice for me once in a while, too. Any suggestions?

I tried buying him some clothes, boy did that backfire! I sent most of them back and the rest he's never worn. I tell him how nice he looks when he dresses up, but that doesn't seem to help. He even has a pair of jeans that make his backside just delicious, and I tell him every time he has them on, but he doesn't even wear those anymore (he has some newer grandpa pants that he wears now) unless I pick them out for him when he's too lazy to find his own clothes. He just looks at me like I'm nuts.

how often do you shave your legs? and what's the best way: waxing, shaving, or stuff like veet creams? i've never waxed coz i've been told it's not good for the legs...is this true?

I want to get a slight tan for my wedding day and honeymoon. They have some fast tan machines at the gym - 2 minutes for £1. It's one of those cocoon things you stand up in. They recommend 2 minute sessions for fair-skinned people (like me). What they don't say is how often!

So how often should I do it? And how long will it take to see a difference? I want to turn from pearly white to very slightly bronzed.

I have very low self-esteem. I have these stretch marks on my calves and upper arms since puberty (I'm now 28) and they are white silvery now, very unsightly, 2-3 inches in length. I have brown skin so they really show. Wearing shorts and sleeveless was never in my vocabulary. I know they are here forever. Also, I had a freak accident when I was little and my left pinkie finger has a flexion deformity as its tendon was cut. Now, I'm seeing this new guy and I'm very afraid of how he would react to find out these imperfections that I have. I really love him. I really dont feel good about myself. I try to think that I'm luckier that I am normal and I do not have any disease or anything....but when I see other people who dont have these problems that I do, I feel really bad. What should I do?!!
