Realize that up to 12 months your baby might lose all of its hair and there's nothing you can do about it.

Hair grows in cycles that also include a resting period before new hair comes through. This cycle can get interrupted with hormonal changes.

Namely, loss of hair.

Once born, babies will often lose their hair because hormone levels drop significantly after birth.

This is a natural cycle and there's nothing you can do to stop it since that's a part of the child's development. Just kick back and if your baby loses their hair, then just look forward to the baby's new hair do!

Mothers will often go through a similar hair loss.

Your baby's hair might change color as he/she grows older. When I was born I had black curly hair, but as I got older it changed to light brown and straight.

dont put hats on your baby! since the hair is so new and sensitive the hats will keep the hair from growing fuller. it sounds like a myth i know but i've seen it myself! good luck
