I personally think areas that are different, such as upper back for example are nice. I'm not a fan of lower back or leg tattoos (except maybe on the ankle) myself. It's all about what you like though. Most women don't like the idea of having a tattoo on their upper arm and I have one and like it. To each their own. On a side note:: this woman is asking which part of the body a person thinks a tattoo looks good on a woman. If you're one of those "tattoos look trashy" or "i don't like them" people then this question isn't for you. She's not asking whether or not a person agrees with the idea of tattoos or if a person likes them in general. She's asking that if you do, where do you like them. So save the "don't get a tattoo" rants for appropriate questions.

I got my first tattoo when I was 16 and another bigger one 10 years later. Both are on my back and I love them. They are very special and meaningful and I don't care if I get old and wrinkly and they end up looking like something else, they reflect who I am or was at the time.
My advice is stick to somewhere where you can't see on a regular basis unless you're actually trying to show it off. In today's still largely ignorant world, ppl base alot of opinions on looks and if you look like a tattooed freak know that you will not get a regular job...sadly that's just the way the world is. I wouldn't even get one on the ankle. Back, butt, between, your belly button and crotch are good.

almost anywhere, as long as the tattoo is meaningful to the person and fits the place where it is done...(no butterfly tattoos on the bottom of your foot...just makes it look like you were mean and stepped on a butterfly)
a rosebud on the breast is a classic example of good placement and a tattoo that suits the location
p.s. remember, too, that "tribute" tattoos should only have the names of blood family members (ancestors/descendants) in them....how awful would it be to get married, get hubby's name tattooed on your shoulder blade, then have a disastrously painful divorce, find another love and have to explain about this reminder that is in your skin forever?

Never get one on your lower back(people call it a tramp stamp) and not on your bicep(it makes you look like a man)
Good places-Rib cage(it hurts like hell, from what I've heard. But it looks good if it has a design along it), ankle, shoulderblade, top of foot, side or front of hip(I wouldn't get it there if you plan on getting pregnant in the future).

Depends on if you want to show it off or not.
If you do, then, the back, shoulder, biceps, ankle, bellybutton.
If you don't, then, anywhere that your clothes will cover it.
I always thought about getting one on my upper arm, so it would be easy to hide or not.

depends on the clothes you wear, I would say something around your belly button, or on one of your calves/ankles. Of course, maybe you want one on the back of your neck...

it is generic but the lower back. it is sexy but can be concealed. i think if you want to show it cool, but trust me there may come a day when you need to conceal it

none. no old ladies look good with tattoos. Also most men will say that you ruined your body if you put a tattoo on it. Also people will judge you especially at work
