Makeup - March 2007

I have combination skin, and I tried MAC's liquid studio fix. however the SA who helped me gave me an orangy color which doesn't match my skin, and it also comes off after a short period of time.

What's the best drug store foundation? brands like maybelline, revlon, covergirl, max factor, l'oreal, etc etc. MAC is okay too. the others are too expensive for me. I've heard alot about maybelline's dream matte mousse, people either really love it or really hate it. i don't know about that. What's your opinion?

Also, im thinking of using concealer under foundation to cover up acne and redness and eye circles. will that work?

soo i'm going on vaca soon and will be snorkeling and suchh, swimming alot, i need a new waterproof mascara that gives lots of volume. ive used a couple of drug store mascaras including volume shocking, which i liked at the time but looking back, were terrible. I use MAC zoom lash which i like for everyday use and i bought MAC pro lash i think it is for my waterproof one. It gives incredible curl and ive tested its waterproofness in the shower which is good, but it just doesn't give near the amount of volume id like plus it have to put on loads of coats of it. I'm doing an order to sephora this week so if anyone can reccomend a mascara, id greatly appreciate it!
P.S - i don't mind paying for a really decent mascara!

i have been using st. ives apricot scrub blemish and blackhead control because i have lots of blackheads on my oily nose. what type of cleansers, toners, and moisturizers would you recommend for someone on a low budget. something i can get at wal-mart. so far i have the st. ives which i use every morning followed by witch hazel astringent. thanks

I've gotten hypoallergenic mascaras, name brand mascaras, expensive mascaras, cheap mascaras, and all so on, but my eyes ALWAYS itch when I apply mascara. No matter what, after about an hour, my eyes start itching really badly. I apply it correctly, but it still itches. Am I just allergic to eye makeup?

I had previously posted asking about returning clinique products and you all recommended I call them to check and it should be ok. Well, i just called and the lady told me NO! She said that because I used the product, she can't take it back! =.="" How was I supposed to know if it would work for me if I dont use it. It claims to volumize and thicken your eyelashes, have you tried it out yet? Did it clump or make lashes look spidery? Did it volumize or thicken?

I remember trying the other non-clump Cover Girl mascara..the purple one or something..didn't work too well....looked like I was putting on brown foundation on my lashes.. But I've heard so many raves about this one and the one I tried...

I just bought a nice foundation brush, but I'm not sure exactly how to use it. Do I dot the foundation (liquid) on my face and then spread it with the brush? Do I put the makeup directly onto the brush and then onto my skin? Do I even really need this thing?

I just purchased this product called TriLASTIN-SR for stretch marks? Has anyone ever used this product? If so was it worth the 89.00 they charge for it? I will pretty much pay anything to get rid of these marks. Anyone ever tried Strivectin? Any tips on effective creams is greatly appreciated.
