the reason why you cant return it is because you got it from a department store counter- they give out free samples and test products on your face before you buy them free of charge. when you go with clinique or elizabeth arden it's smart to test out products on your skin because they're the only makeup lines that let you do that. then you buy it, after you know you like it. it really is your fault, but im sure if you talked to a manager and had a receipt dating no later than like 5 days, you'd be able to do an exchange. other than that, i advise you to test out products before you buy them.

You're going to give up that easy? The main issue is your receipt. If you have that you are cool. Don't take the word of the first person you speak with. Just keep going up the ladder. Go in person, with your receipt and just right off ask to speak with a supervisor. Don't mess with the people who have no power to actually help you. I would go to the store manager if need be. If you remain polite and cool, go to the top, you will get your way!!! It is not a big enough deal for them to lose a customer over. The store doesn't lose a dime, they get the money back from their Clinique sales rep.

Clinique's website says they do accept returns. I don't know if you bought it online or not. If you got it in a store you can return it. Just be really nice about it and they usually comply. Some stores like Sephora and Saks will accept returns with no problem whatsoever- even used perfume.

Thats not true. You should be able to take it back. I would go down and speak with someone and complain. Also, call another customer service on thier website and tell them the situation. Do you have a reciept???? That can be a problem, but if you have proof of purchase, they should give you a refund. I have never had a problem with them before.

I know how you feel, wasting money on a product that sucks.
Well if you cant return it.
Then you're just stuck with it.
Maybe thats the whole process.
First you breakout a little, then it really works.
Thats the way with some products, like proactive.
Give it a little more time.

You should be able to return it, otherwise get a hold of the company. That's pathetic. I'm a beauty consultant with Merle Norman and we take anything back. Good luck! =)
