I used to always do black eyeliner and then some color of eyeshadow. But I want to know whats the correct way to put on eyeliner, and what colors look best, and how to smudge your make-up and eyeliner together on your upper eyelids.. Everytime I do, I make a huge mess of my make-up. I'm really not stupid when it comes to make-up, but you probably know alot more about it than me.

I'd like to know what kind of blush i should use. I have dark, but not too dark(about beyonce's skin tone) skin, and i don't want to spend more than ten bucks on this blush. Unless it's Mac or clinique or something. I also don't want to look like i'm wearing makeup, but look natural. Pleas reply! :)

How do you achieve this look without looking like you've been beaten up or tried to look like a panda? I can get the smokey look under the eye but I really make a mess with the eyeshadow on my lids...any advise would be great!

I have a little lighter than olive skin, and dark chocolate brown eyes. Besides black, what other colors of eye liner would look good on my eyes?

OK, here's the deal. I work for a financial advisor right now and I've only been here for about 4 months. I feel like I'm at that point in my life where I should have established a career by now (I'm 22). Here's my problem. As much as I enjoy working there, I don't feel like it's my job path, you know? So I've been doing some thinking and I feel like I'm really drawn towards make-up and beauty, things like that. I like looking my best, but I also enjoy helping others look and feel their best. However, I don't really know how much of a plausable career that would be, you know? I mean, I know I could go to school and become a make-up artist, things like that, but would it really be money making? I know you should enjoy what you do and money shouldn't be an issue, but lets face it, in this day and age it kinda is. I'm wondering if there are make-up artists out there that could give me some insight? Thanks!

I have a birhmark on my face that I could once cover with a foundation by Max Factor but they don't make it any longer. I've been trying different kinds but I can't really afford to do that and I would really like to cover it.
It's called a portwine stain and covers 1/4 of my face and 1/2 of my neck. I really need help with this.

I am thinking about becoming a Mary Kay consultant? I like the product myself. I've read some bad things about the company on a site called marykaysucks.wordpress.com. Does anyone know if the product is actually better and why? What about the dynamics of the company and the sales force? I'm interested in hearing as many experiences as I can.
