No, it's not wrong at all. A little bit of mascara and some light blush along with some lip gloss goes a long way. You don't want to put a lot of black eyeliner or tons of eyeshadow when it's really not needed. You are trying to enhance your God given beauty and most of the time, less is best. Have your Mom teach you the correct way to apply makeup and if you think she wears too much then buy yourself a teen magazine where there are a lot of helpful tips.

I don't think so. Make up is a form of personal expression. Young teens are old enough to start expressing themselves, and make up is one way that isn't going to hurt anyone. That said, I look back at some of the makeup I wore then, and am embarassed by it. I'd say if you want to save yourself embarassing photos in the future, do go for the natural look.

I don't think a little mascara or lip gloss is wrong at all - but putting on a whole face of make-up that young seems like you girls are trying to turn in to women as fast as possible - Don't worry there is plenty of time to worry about make-up enjoy the time you have with your youth as you can Never get that back

Not if they don't go overboard. Lipgloss and blush and eyeshadow are enough. In the eight grade, eyeliner and mascara are also okay. But not heavy. Remember, kids in the eight grade will be attending high school next year. You can't expect them to not wear make up.

no, there are makeup lines made just for the young adult. check with your local department store. or shop at the dollar store for inexpensive but very good fashion makeup. make sure to take care of your skin while you are young so that it will be good to you as you get older. always cleanse before you go to bed as well as when you get up in the morning. and always use gentle makeup remover like baby oil or mineral oil and then cleanse.

Of course not. When I was a kid/teenager, I had such low self confidence and makeup acctually made me feel better so if makeup lets you feel good, then wear whatever you want. Just not too much makeup.

I would say lip gloss and some blush would be ok. If it were my daughter I would not want her to be slathering on the makeup and ruin her natural beauty. Plus, young girls look trashy with too much makeup.

I think 7th grade is a good age to start wearing REAL makeup like eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, foundation, etc.
