Oh at Kroger they have these sets for different eye colors, I have green eyes too and i got that. It has 3 different eyeshadow colors (brown, dark green, and light green, and it has a special mascara and brown eyeliner). When you put it all on as directed it really brings out gorgeous green eyes. They also make them for brown and blue and even hazel eyes.

Try switching to a metallic gold or brown eyeliner, those should make your eyes pop but the colors are still within your safety zone.
I'm also a fan of light pink eyeshadow...it looks great on all skin types but is also pretty subtle.

A light pink (shimmery or not) would look nice if you wanted to be a little dressier. Lancome has some great pink eyeshadows out in their new fall line. Light colors can make your eyes look bigger. But you were dead-on with the golds and browns- they're the perfect understated colors for everyday use. If you want to mix it up though, go lighter with a tannish creamy color.

Gold would be good, try green. With light eyes, they can change slightly with the colors that you wear. Grey might also be good, I guess it depends on your skin color too. I have blue-grey eyes, if I wear brown it makes my eyes pop, but blue does too. Just try green and see if you like it.

use a shadow that will compliment your eyes rather than commanding attention to those beautiful eyes. your want lighten up on the eyeliner to perhaps a light gold. that is vogue
