Hair - November 2007

My hair is about the same colour as my avatar, only maybe a little darker. I have naturally red hair, with blond highlights, but I am getting bored of it, and I want a new look. Do you think light brown highlights would look good with red hair, or should I stick with blond?

My hair is short.

And its making me angry.
I got a BAD haircut yesturday.
And its really embarrasing.

No matter what i do to get hair off down there, i get these stupid little red bumps. I tried shaving, waxing and using a mousse but nothing works to get rid of them! Is there anything i can do to remove the hairs without buying a product (like home remedies) Thank you so much!! All answers are appreciated!!!!

i never did anything to my hair until now i just dyed it semi permanently a medium blonde and it looks fine, but not much of a change. i was looking for something lighter and more of a dramatic change. How can i make it lighter for now and how much longer until i can dye it again?

I have heard that by mixing 1/2 cup of dried rosemary leaves and 1/2 cup of olive oil and heating it up, then applying it to your hair and leaving it on for about 15 mins is a good treatment for dry hair.

Has anyone ever tried this? Did you like it? What did it do for your hair?

its about 6 inches away from getting sandwiched in my a$$crack and i need some haircut ideas that wont make my face look wider than it already is.

Ok well ive been planning to grow my hair, it aint long yet just pretty thick with alot of hair. is texturizing mainly suppose to help those with thick hair? cuz my hair is majorly thick and i hate it. how long does your hair have to be to get it texurized? and im looking for boy bangs also. any suggestions on what i should tell my hairdresser tomorrow to do my hair?

I got a really bad haircut in 1st grade--I asked for shoulder length, and the woman (she was actually mentally ill, we later found out) chopped it almost all off! I cried.

I'm Black and it takes my hair a REALLY long time to grow out. I know some of you will say trim it regularly, but then I lose the amount of hair that has grown in! Any formulas? It's about down to my shoulder blades right now and I REALLY want it like WAY longer. Thanks! :)

Should I dye my hair from a platinum blonde to an auburn or brown tone?I have green eyes and a very pale complexion.I feel like a dark hair color might bring out the color in my face more whilst the blonde washes me out a bit, though I could be wrong?
Also, Will the auburn fade to an orange over time?

Dye over bleach?
I want to go blonde. I used Loreal Le Blondlissimes LB01 an ultra lightening color and shine system. Okay so i have red undertones, and it turned out a dark orange. (i did a test strand) When i saw the strand didnt take on my hair, i figure this leaves me to the option of getting a 40 percent proxoide, bleach it out, wait 24 hours or so, then dye it a dark blonde. Any suggestions on how to make this the safest way. And im doing this at home, not a salon. I cant afford it, and rom my experience, what i have seen them do to my hair before at a salon they use double processing or corrective coloring where they take the 30 or 40 developer and bleach and strip the hair, then they put a dye over it and they charge over 100 bucks that i dont have right now. Mother of two here. help

I'm in a small town, my hairdresser left, The woman who cut my hair this last time works there too, 13 yrs, she didn't even listen to me , now my hair doesn't even lay right..Not going back..I have natural curly/wavy hair and i need a place that can cut hair good... My lashes were soo long and i luvved them [its true as the saying goes-- u never know how much u luv sumthing untill its gone!!!] But they were just soo long and i was wondering if u could feel ur eyelashes being cut..like feel pain. Cuz a cats wisker would hurt being cut off so i was wondering and i went to cut the TINNEST bit but i kinda got big clump..and i was wondering how long would they be short for??? i tried to fix them but theyre a little uneven.. ive been taking pics of my eyelashes and looking in the mirror they're not toooo short but very noticable that i cut them cuz they were soo long before!!! i just did it about an hour - two ago and either im crazy or they grew the TINNEST bit..! But hair on my legs,head and arms grow fast would that mean my eyelashes would grow faster too? ill take anything! [i cant help but laff at myself]
p.s. im only 11 [12inFeb] so that'll explain for my stupid reason for why i cut them =/ lol

I have light red/blonde hair right now, but I want to lose the red. Tried just using a box of hair dye but it just made it reddish blonde from the reddish brown it was. Would I have to bleach it to get the red out? Some of it is dye and will fade I suppose but my hair has quite a bit of red in it naturally.
