I dont have black hair, but i have read some questions about it. You should try to go as long as you can without washing your hair, i heard black people can go like a week so do that. No styling your hair at all, since it's fragile, and use good moisturuizing shampoos and conditioners. Try mane n tail( i know, it sound like a horse shampoo, and it is! but alot of celebs use it because it has protein and other vitamins/minerals to keep your hair strong)

(check out the where to buy section to find a store near you. make sure it sells the products you want though)

It even has a hair growth enhancer in there lol

Take biotin, it's really good for your hair. for maximum growth, go for 2500 mg a day. DONT brush your hair more than you need to. it's very bad. i only brush my hair once a day, or whenever i wash it. all i do is brush the conditioner through in the shower

I do not consider it's relatively viable to make your hair develop quicker, however you would make it develop more healthy. I have lengthy hair, and at a distinctive factor, it begins getting bad. Of direction, trims are indispensable to maintain your hair healthful, however be certain that you simply don't seem to be trimming your hair greater than it grows. You can regularly ask your stylist to simply trim essentially the most minimum quantity while you cross in. For me, that is many times simply part an inch. I additionally hardly ever variety my hair making use of a blow dryer or warmth. The extra you employ the blow dryer and warmth along with your hair, the extra most often you ought to get trims, and the slower it is going to take to your hair to develop. I additionally wash my hair within the early night time so it has time to dry at night time earlier than I ought to be anyplace. I wash my hair each and every different day, given that washing too most often will dry hair out. For the times I do not wash my hair, I simply clip it up within the bathe. Some new matters that I am making an attempt: Combing my rainy hair with a decide upon as an alternative of a broom given that hair is extra fragile while it's rainy and the comb breaks hair less difficult. Good good fortune!

You definitely want to take care of your diet as well as your hair.

Don't use any products with alcohol in it as it will dry out your hair. Unfortunately alot of products have alcohol of some sort, so I suggest going to Whole Foods or just looking very carefully at the ingredients list.

You do want to do some maintenance on your hair for sure to make sure that the split ends don't travel up the hairshaft. If you don't want to cut it, then the other alternative is to get some *sharp* scissors and manually go through each hair to find and cut off split ends.

You also want to be very gentle with your hair and keep it moisturized and do NOT damage it. Comb your hair and massage your scalp (mostly to make it feel good lol)

Don't get it trimmed too often; just about every 2 or 3 months. And just a very minimal amount cut off. Split ends really do slow hair growth. You could also just add extensions until your hair grows out.

Hair extensions will end up breaking your hair. About every 2 months, you do need to trim it SLIGHTLY. Otherwise, the ends will get dried and split and break off MORE than what you would have cut.

Take a good multi-vitamin every day also. Don't pull it back and brush it very gently when wet. Do what you can to not damage it.

Condition it really well to avoid breakage, Dove has really good products. I have also hear that regularly trimming the ends (not cutting a lot, just the very ends) will help it grow, but I'm not sure if that is true.

Well, when I was trying to grow out my hair, I just never cut it and put it in different hairstyles depending on how long it was.

When it was really short, I just used hairclips to keep it out of my face.

When it became a bit longer, I put it in pigtails (I was in middle school) or a pony tail.

Just don't cut it, and wait. Try and do something with it for the length it is at the time also. There's nice hairstyles for any hair length.

Just wait your hair will grow it just needs time.

I think the fastest way to grow out hair is taking regularly prenatal vitamins. This vitamins are the best and they make your hair grow and your nails also. This vitamins are meant for mothers to be or expecting mothers but is no harm if you take the regular dose everyday unless you have a vitamin deficiency...consult you doctor anyways but yeah Vitamin E also is great to grow out hair.

My mom once told me about a friend of hers who greased her scalp and brushed her hair 100 times and night and that made her hair grow long!!! I tried it and it works!!! Don't put anything HOT on your hair like curlers or flat irons!! They break your hair off and if you have to don't do it everyday and make sure you set it at a low temperature. Stay away for "spritz" and other hardened hair products they only damage your hair. Wash your hair weekly and tie it up every night with a satin scarf!!! Oh and be sure if your gonna wear pony tails that they aren't to tight. Oh and only clip your ends like every 2 or 3 months.
