Thinning and texturizing mean the same thing. We cosmotologist refer to it as texturizing so we don't scare our clients. As long as your hair is at least 2 inches long it can be texturized. Your stylist can either create different effects with texturizing shears depending on how much and where she takes hair. I would definatly recommend getting your hair texturized from what you have said. It will remove a lot of the bulk and help your hair to lay flatter or closer to your head. Now if you had thin hair texturzing could help the hair have more volume and not be so wieghed down. Like I said it's all in the way your stylist uses her instrument. Hope this helped.

I'm not sure texturizing is the right word you're looking for. Perhaps thinning it or layering would help. Also I would suggest matrix sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner [especially the conditioner] because it really softens thick hair and makes it look a lot thinner.

If you're a boy, and your hair is that thick, a longer cut probably would not look best on you.

Most short hair styles are texturized. Just keep it short and handsome.
