There is no age limit for having long hair. Hair length should depend on personal preference, the density of your hair (how thick or thin it is), how much time you ant to devote to styling, your profile and your body shape.

The length your describing sounds suitable for any age. I do think that waist length hair can sometimes look scraggly or trashy on an older women. But mid back is fine i'd say. I think thats more old school thinking, just like not wearing white after labour day... ppl don't really stick to that anymore!

I dont think it's the hair length so much as the hairstyle. I am 34 and have long-ish hair. But I would never put chunky streaks or blue streaks in it. But my 21 year old stepdaughter would, and it would look great.
Really, they say your only as old as you feel... but I really think it's a taste issue..
Only you know what looks good on you, and what your comfortable in.

For younger people, they can have any hair length they want. For older people hitting the ages of 40+ longer hair makes them look more older. So, shorter hair for older people is recommended.

I think when she's about 19, ladies shouldn't have hair length past their bra strap.
I think it really does just depend.
On some people, they look so good in a buzz cut. But some face types need hair around their face.

I really don't think age matters. A lady I work with is in her late 60s early 70s and her hair is almost solid white and its almost past her butt and it looks really good on her. I think it just all depends on how you carry yourself and if you really like it or not. Its actually all up to you.

I think over 40 women generally look better with shorter hair. Not necessarily super short, but not really long. It makes them look too much like they are REALLY TRYING to look younger.
