I got a really bad haircut in 1st grade--I asked for shoulder length, and the woman (she was actually mentally ill, we later found out) chopped it almost all off! I cried.

Have you ever gotten a really bad haircut? How did you react?

Well my mom cut my hair last year and it came out long in the front then short in the middle and then long in the back. It looked quiet strange. My step-mom took me to a professional hairstylist for a present, though, so it worked out in the end at least.

I've gotten two really bad haircuts in my life. The first one was when I let a friend, who had trained at a very well-renowned beauty school, cut my hair. It was just down past my shoulders, and I wanted it layered a little, and some long bangs added. Well, she would cut one side, then go to the other, snip a little, then go back, snip some more, then to the other side, snip again. This went on and on until finally my hair was up to my ears! I was so disgusted. I'm not so sure she passed her program now.

The second was when I went to a local MagiCuts. I told the lady specifically NOT to cut my bangs, as they were the right thickness and the correct length. She had just gotten off the phone with someone who'd gotten a bad dye job from one of the other girls, and she seemed frustrated over it. To make a long story short, she cut my bangs, making them shorter and thicker. I ended up being unable to get my hair up without bobby pins (which I despise!), and it took nearly a near for my bangs to grow out long enough for me to have them cut back in properly.

Oh god...

Before school pictures my sophomore year I went to get my hair cut at like, Great Clips or something. I asked for lots of layers, and AS the guy is cutting my hair, he says, "You know, I just watched the video on how to do this just the other day!" As much as I wanted to, I did not jump out of the chair and run away screaming, I actually let him finish butchering my hair. I came out with totally uneven "layers"--there were long chunks, short chunks, it was a god awful mess.

I then went and had my poor hair repaired by a friend of my mom the next day, and vowed never to pay less than $20 for a haircut ever again.

I let my friend trim my hair. I had a short haircut to begin with, but she took off WAYYYY too much. It was uneven. I should've just gone and gotten it buzzed, but I didn't. I wore a hat for about a month.

Basically, the longest hair was a little strip around my forehead that was maybe 3/4 of an inch long. The rest varied from about 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch long. It was putrid.

approximately six years in the past my hair became approximately shoulder length and my mom in regulation who's a hair stylist talked me into letting her attempt the "pony tail" minimize on my hair. For those of you who do no longer know what that's, you assemble each and every of the hair right into a ponytail and use the thinning shears on the hair that's interior the ponytail. It regarded undesirable, It regarded flow between a feathered mullet and Joan Jett interior the eighty's. i ended up getting it minimize extremely short because of the fact it became so undesirable. Now finally it has grown out and that i in basic terms keep it extremely long and slightly layered. i'm afraid now to get it minimize.

well, once in 5th grade, I went and got a hair cut. I told the stylist I wanted a bob just a little below my ears. She actually ended up using a razor, messing up, and cutting off all my hair until I had a boyish close shaven cut. At the time, I had shoulder length hair and a kinda baby chubby face. My hair framed my face horribly. I absolutely hated it, so i started crying once I found out she could do nothing about it.

I had to go back get it fixed and by the boss herself.

Yes - about a year ago. The hairdresser either didn't understand what I'd asked for or had her mind on other things - anyway I ended up with a number 1 (almost head shave). I wasn't at all impressed.

2nd (or 3rd) grade. From my mom. The flash backs from that time were like those movies that spin around other people laughing. I get to revisit these feelings from time to time because she cut my hair THE DAY BEFORE CLASS PICTURES.

20 years later, it's a conversation piece
