i have long brown hair" a little past shoulder length and a semi round face , and i am thinking about getting a new hair style.any ideas (but to keep the length and color , what style i should get?

I am completely lost on this subject. I have never died my hair before with fear that I will look completely horrible. I really want to dye it, but I don't see much choice of where to go. Anything from blonde, to red, to ... just about all the colors most people would use, simply wouldn't work (I mean highlights, not all my hair, on the other hand, considered dying all my hair Black, not brown, black, just to see what that would be like.) I would really aprecate it if someone could help me out and give me some options so I don't make one of those huge mistakes I've seen been done before. THANKYOU!!! :D

Ok, I am a working mom and I use my lunch break to exercise at the gym so I can spend as much time when I am home with my child. I don't have time to get my workout in and dry and fix my hair. So I have been putting it up after my workout. I am getting so sick of my hair looking like crap. I don't want to cut into my workout time for my hair either. I was hopeing you guys would have some ideas!

i have thin long brown hair and i straighen it. i always see girls run their fingers thru the top of their hair. everytime i run my fingers thru my hair,my hair gets all oily. why does my hair get oily when i touch my hair n stuff? and how can i make it so i can run my fingers thru the top of my hair? do i need thick hair to do that?

I just got out of middle school and i have hair that barely touches my shoulder. Now i am going to highschool and i want to grow my hair out over the summer. What can i do?

My Hair seems to break off
I get my hair done every 2 weeks
I don't have a perm
My hair gets washed every 2 weeks
I wrap my hair at nite with a silk scarf on a silk pillow
I guess i comb and brush my hair a little too much
I wear my hair down in a side part almost everyday
I use Biosilk silktherepy hair oil, and JOJOBA oil.

What am i doing wrong that is making my hair break off and not get longer?

Please tell me what i can do. Thanks in advance!!

I recently went to a salon that I've been going to for about ten years to get brown highlites. My hairdresser decides that she does not think that I should get the brownish lites. She talked me into getting red after bugging me for 20 min. I had bright "woody woodpecker" red. I know it is "in" right now but it's just not for me. My normal haircolor is very dark brown. I put a hair color over it this week that was a medium brown, cool. It definatly made it calmer but in the sun it all is still bright red. How can I get my hair back to a warm brown instead of birght red?

I've pretty much had the same hair style all fifteen years of my life and i pretty much feel like i need a change, last year i got layers and side swept bangs but since i had no money i did it myself so it looked fine but not like salon quality like some people i kind of want to get layers that are more spread out so like not a lot of layers and i want to color it a darker brown and change my bangs a little but i don't know how to figure out what i want exactly before i go and have it actually done so if anyone has any tips on websites to go to or salons to go to pleas help

My daughter is biracial (black/white) and I'm looking for a salon who specializes in biracial hair in the Detroit, MI area. I favor the Ouidad carve & slice cut but the nearest salon that does that is 4 hours away, in Canada! Help!
