sounds kinda silly but i sleep with a shower cap on usually once a month. i wash my hair and then put aussie deep conditioning treatment in it then put my shower cap on and go to bed (with a towel over my pillow just in case it leaks a little) and when i wake up i rinse my hair out really good and then blowdry it on low and straighten it on the lowest setting as well. it doesnt damage my hair at all because i use a heat protectant and the low settings. it takes about an hour to do my whole head (i have shoulder-blade length hair) but its soooo worth it!! my hair is perfectly straight, super silky and soft and i cant even tell u how shiny it is. people compliment my hair all the time!! i love pretty hair!!

- If you have fine hair that starts to frizz, do not use damaging shampoos full of detergent (sulfate-free)
- Pack a mineral water spritzer into your bag. When hair is flat, mist up your waves and rescrunch by hand.
- Concentrate shampoo on the scalp - unless you use a lot of styling products, theres no need to shampoo ends of hair.
- Rinse out shampoo really well (4 minutes approx.) A good rinse is just as important as a good wash in getting really clean hair.
- Comb wet hair in the morning after you shower. ( Brushing wet hair can damage it)
- Brush dry hair at night before you go to bed. Combing dry hair is ok, but brushing is better as it will better distribute the oils and is good for the scalp.
- During the day carry small brush around with you. Get a nylon bristle brush to keep in your bag. However, do not brush too often!
- Great hair foods include fish, seaweed, almonds, Brazil nuts, figs, dates, natural goat's or sheep's milk yoghurt and cottage cheese, lots of fruits and vegetables.
- Don't stick to the same product all the time: hair develops a resistance to some ingredients after a while, so use 2 or 3 bottles on a rotating bases.
I have listed more than one, sorry! (:
Do refer to books; they have a lot of hair tips that are very useful!

A very small amount of Olive Oil (no more than a teaspoon) applied to your ends, then work your way up combing your hair with your hands, let it sit for 10 minutes and wash as usual (you may or may not need to shampoo twice and may or may not need conditioner..depends on your hair). It's excellent in the wintertime if you have hair with uncontrollable static. And it does not ruin your hair.

My best hair tip is after washing it, towel dry it and then add your conditioner...Not as much as you would in the shower though. Comb conditioner through your hair to remove excess - or gently towel dry again. Then style it. Your hair will be incredibly soft and manageable.

Do not blow dry your hair. Maybe once a month, that's it.
Do not straighten your hair with one of those irons. Imagine putting that iron on your skin. Now look at how fragile a human hair is. You might as well just set your hair on fire and get it over with.

Don't wash your hair every day, most people over wash their hair try every other day. Or wait as long as you can. Implement a deep treatment once a week. A healthy scalp=healthy hair
good luck

Deep Condition whenever possible.
Use a blast of cold air when drying it to make it shiny.
Make a mixture of baking soda and shampoo to get rid of chlorine.
Wash everyother day.

Drink at least 60oz of just pure water everyday, you will notice the difference in your hair in two weeks (much softer and not as dry)
