If this is a sudden loss of hair in patches it could be aloepecia areata which is losing hair in spots. The most common cause of such is stress. The best thing you can do is talk to your doctor. As for home remedies you can try rubbing liquorice soaked in milk to the bald patches or juice of ginger.. you can also apply a paste onion juice mixed with freshly ground pepper..

Its some time since I had the same problem.I am now resigned to the fact that I had to live with it and live with it I have without feeling sorry for myself.My bald patch now covers the majority of my head and it does not bother me one little bit.

You could have Alopecia Areata, (kind of like male un-pattern boldness). My husband has it. It started with a small bold spot on the back of his head, then more bold spots a little later. He now shaves his head because of the amount of hair loss. This can effect men, women and children.
I would consult your doctor.

you could be going bald
if you are on meds. & have changed them perhaps that is causing this ?
see your Dr. , if your a guy you could shave your
head , that's what my hubby does since he is bald in the mid. area of his head, I like him bald , he looks cute

a hair piece, a hat, mascara, or just learn to love your patches, washing it may be causing it to fall out since you rub when you wash!!!
