I oftentimes wear a tuxedo as uniform, and my friends insist that I unbutton the bottom button of my 3-button vest/waistcoat. I think it looks odd... the buttons are too close together, and for attire as formal as a tux, the "casualness" of unbuttoning seems out of place. Is there a right way to button a vest, and are there any sources to back this up either way? Thanks!

Hi im 16 and im about 5'10" or 5'11". i never wear heels to formal parties or w/e with a dress because i feel TOOO tall. when i get older would it be weird to wear heels?? because will heels then i would be like 6'1" right? so does it look weird to be that tall??? should i just wear flats?

I have nearly always worked in male dominated fields so have had little interest or need for makeup and pretty clothes, I tend to buy black and practical. My man would like me to become more 'girly' in my attire but I really don't know where to start. He is happy to come shopping with me, but what sort of basics should I start with? Would they look cheap? Obviously I know diamonds are "better" with more carat weight, but for earrings, is this adequate?

I can get them from Zales online for $99, they were originally $450.

We're still in college and I want to get her something nice. She isn't incredibly picky (but still a girly girl) and I've never given her (real) diamonds before.
