Small ladies...Do you wear high heeled shoes to compensate for your lack of height?

Tall ladies do you wear small heels?................Justy curious...

I'm 4'11, yea I wear the occasional heel. But it's not just because I'm short, that may be part of the reason but not hte full one :]

Iam a small women, and...even though I was really self conscious of my height [I'm 5'1 about] for years and always used to wear heels refusing to wear flat shoes. I'm starting to become more accepting of how tall iam. Im actually starting to enjoy being short, and I can't walk around properly in heels anyway.

I find flat shoes much more comfortable. I only ever wear heels on certain occassions.

I'm 5'6" and I wear heels from time to time. I have a pair of high heel boots that I like to wear that have 3" heels, but most days I wear tennis shoes. I wear whatever is comfortable, I don't care how tall I am with heels on.

I'm 5'6 and I wear heels often but not to compensate for my height. I just like the way that I look in heels. I rarely wear sneakers. Besides, the place where I work frowns upon sneakers at work and I've just kind of grown accustomed to wearing heels. I wear anything from a 1in-6in heel to work.

I have to admit that I do wear heels as often as possible. But it's not just for the height. It's also because the legs & stomach look fantastic in heels. Overall, it's just a great look.

I'm about 6' tall and I wear what I feel like. I wear heels if I want, tennies when I shoot hoops..I have no problem w/my height. In fact I like it! When I go out in Heels and dressed I'm
for sure the first lady men see...quite the advantage...when I was into going to clubs....

oh yeah. i'm short and i wear heels all the time. but i do love being short because

1) from what most people tell me guys like short girls because it makes them feel like they can "take care" of us or whatever.

2) i've also heard that guys love a girl in heels. i can wear heels but still be a little shorter than whatever guy i'm with so yeah...i guess that's a good thing.


BUT

guys also apparently love tall girls because they're more "leggy". so i guess i would be happy if i was tall too. and yeah, i would probably wear small heels if i was.

Hey, well I'm almost 15 and only 4'11 (Size 3 shoes). I much prefer to wear high-heeled boots because I feel more confident and normal in them. I have a friend who is a couple of months younger than me and 5'7 with size 11 feet - she avoids heels and only wears flats because she's very concious of her height. I wish I could take some sort of magic tablet or something, I'd love to be 5'3. But I'm small like my mum and sisters! =[

I'm short and I wear heels but I just prefer 4 inch candies;) My mom's tall for women (5'6-5'7) and wore 4 inch candies when she was younger. Now she wears smaller 1-2 inch heels just because she has a lot of stairs at her job.

Small ladies should wear a heel of about 1-2 inches at an average. For the more taller women, they should wear half inch stud heels or no heels at all.

I always prefer to look taller than I am!!
I am 5ft 4ins and I wear heels and flats, depends on what I am doing on the day!! If its going out for fun etc then the high heels go on.
If I have a lot of walking to do then its gotta be flats otherwise my feet kill me!!
