People are always like, go to Claire's if you go there you get a free pair of earrings, it's girl wonderland. But I know a few people who don't want me to get it at Claire's. If there's a better place, could you let me know?

go to a real piercing shop, or your pediatrician...most do piercings.

A tattooist/body piercer would do it but it would cost a hell of a lot more. Claire's are okay but you need to look after the piercing after and make sure it does not get infected.
With ear piercing guns, what shops like Claire's use, the earring is what makes the hole, it is literally forced through the flesh so the hole is minimal. When it is done by a body piercer the hole is cleaner, larger and believe it or not, a lot less painful and it heals better.
I have had many an ear piercing done in shops like Claire's and had no problems, I had 12 holes in each ear, all done in shops. But I also had the same amount done by a professional piercer and had no problems there either. It depends on how much cash you have and how you look after the piercing afterwards. Both have their merits and downfalls.

my understanding is that the only reason some don't like claire is because of the earrings they give you. but thats something thats down to personal choice i think. i know several people who are very much into piercings and have nothing against claires other than everyone gets to see you having them done! they don't use majorly different equipment or anything, they just don't have years of experience the way a lot of piercers do.

I got mine at claire. I don't no why thses another girls might say Claries is bad. Its really easy, free and you get a free pair of earrings with a free bottle. Why go somewhere where you might have to pay $10 or $20 for all of this! You ears come out perfectly. They don't hurt. So i say go with Claries.

Hope this Helped~
