Does it hurt to have ur ears pierced? On a scale from 1-10. (1 being no pain 10 being major pain)

And also,,...
I don't really trust going to the mall and into a store like Claires to get my ears pierced by some ammature. If u know what I mean. Isn't there a safer way to do it? Do hospitals pierce ears?

I got a nose piercing about 20 days ago. The guy told me that I can change my stud after 20 days. But to me that doesn’t seem right. My nose has healed and I feel no pain. I really wanna change it. Is it safe to do it so soon or should I wait a while? If so how long should I wait before changing it?
