Wedding dress question...(alterations)?

How many dress sizes can they alter a wedding dress before it get's too expensive and starts looking funny.

Hi

I own a bridal & formal wear business. We generally tell our brides that we can take a gown in 2 inches and let it out 1 inch.

1-2 dress sizes, and that's assuming there's not a major beading or anything fancy.

Anything other than that and you'll want to get a new dress.
