I got a nose piercing about 20 days ago. The guy told me that I can change my stud after 20 days. But to me that doesn’t seem right. My nose has healed and I feel no pain. I really wanna change it. Is it safe to do it so soon or should I wait a while? If so how long should I wait before changing it?

well, i have my nose pierced & i was told it would be about 6-8 weeks before i could change it, when it was fully healed...to me, it sounds as if the piercer u spoke with doesn`t know what he`s talking about...u really have to be careful, your nose hasn`t been pierced very long, & it might seem like it`s healed, but facial piercings tend to close up very quickly, & there`s still a chance for infection...honestly, i think i would go to another reputable piercer & get a 2nd opinion, just to be on the safe side...

When I got my nose pierced they told me to wait 6 weeks to change studs, that way it was for sure fully healed. I wouldn't chance it, cuz an infection in the nose is really nasty......

im pretty sure u can change it. when i got mine done (about 4 weeks ago) the guy told me to wait 36 - 48 hours before i change it. i changed it after 36 hours and i havent had any problems with it at all (no infections or anything like that). so im pretty sure u can change yours now.

good luck with ur cute newish (lol) piercing!!!
