I put med ash blonde over my golden blonde highlights to tone it down. It did ok, but I thought with the ash color as the box says it should also pull out the red tones, but I still have a tad bit red cast to it, not alot. Any suggestions on maybe getting rid of the red tones or cast to it.? Without darkening it.. I don't wear my hair dark or red..

Homecoming is in a few weeks, as you all know. Not only do you have to choose the dress but also what hairstyle you want for it. I want a hairstlye that would go with almost any dress and since i have really thick hair i will need to either straighten it or curl it or put it up. I got my hair dyed today and it just doesnt look right....I went to the store and bought two boxes of color..one is perment and the other is level 2, 28 day wash out. I would rather just use the perment color but im not sure if it will damage my hair......help!!!!!
