A friend of mine did some minor modeling and she was told to eat toilet paper so she wouldn't get hungry. So I believe the cotton ball thing.

Well I don't really do high fashion, mostly magazine ads and stuff but I've never heard of this... If it is true, it's so that they'll get skinny or something but everyone in my agency is over 110 so I don't think they would say to do that. Besides that's disgusting but I believe that high fashion models would do that.

If any did do that, I would imagine they are dead. The cotton would get wound around the intestines.

could be done for the stomach to not digest whatever they eat?
so they stay thin?
probably make them have the impression that they're full too...
but long term...i can think constipation...
