Beauty & Style - 18 July 2006

I am half black and half italian, which means i have very curly, unmanagable hair at times. whenever i straighten my hair it ends up becoming dry and sometimes some parts of my hair are still really curly. it's gotten to the point where the only time my hair really looks great is when i go to see my hair dresser. i want to know if anybody has suggestions about what shampoos, straightening creams, etc to use. i'm a college student so i can't spend what little money i have on expensive hair products that are sold at hair salons. someone help!

i have been dying my hair since i was 12 im 16 now.
and my hair is really frizzy dry and a lil dead. i wanna be able to dye my hair but still have it expremly healthy and pretty like some of my other friends do.

should i cut my hair and give it to locks of love..i mean..my hair is really really long....and i want to cut it so i could give it to locks of love but my parents dont let me cut it cuase they say my hairs a gift and not many people have my hair and yea i understand that

tomorrow i want to make a change in apperance and i have decided on.. HAIR COLOR CHANGE.. so here is where hopefully you come in... I am a light skinned hispanic, short dark brown hair, slightly lighter dark brown eyes, about oooh um 5'4? 5'3? Should i dye my hair all one color or get highlights? And please some color suggestions? I WILL do whatever the majority of you suggest that i do. a) all one color OR b) highlights. Not a terribly important question, but hey its two points you point mongers!!! ;)

I bought vaseline cocoa butter to put on my face before I sleep to cure my acne scars but now I 'm hearing it's bad for your face. It says it smoothes the apperance of marks & discoloration.
