I wear size 14 , but when I go to buy jeans if they don't have that I see i.e. 28 30 32 , how do I know what size I wear like that instead of the typical way?

Those sizes are for either waist or hips size in inches, get your tape measure out! And yes, it is annoying.

You have to measure your waist to see what size you would wear. I'll tell you though, it's NOT a 28 or 30 so don't be disappointed(i'm a 14 too)!

The 28-30 is in inches, get a tape measure around your waist, Then you can be certain, Inches is the best measurement

Size 14 is a woman`s size. 28,30,32, etc. are men`s sizes. It is the waist size. So if you wanted a pair of mens jeans , you would have to measure your waist size and inseam (lenght ).

however big around your waist is, is the number pants you wear. ex: my waist is 27", so i'm a size 27

That would probably be the length of the inseem, which vary by brand, or by petites, regulars, and talls.

i think when they say that, they mean those are their wasit measurements. so just measure your waist! :)
