tomorrow i want to make a change in apperance and i have decided on.. HAIR COLOR CHANGE.. so here is where hopefully you come in... I am a light skinned hispanic, short dark brown hair, slightly lighter dark brown eyes, about oooh um 5'4? 5'3? Should i dye my hair all one color or get highlights? And please some color suggestions? I WILL do whatever the majority of you suggest that i do. a) all one color OR b) highlights. Not a terribly important question, but hey its two points you point mongers!!! ;)

I would go for highlights. You could get very subtle ones or get chunky ones. A fun idea would be to get highlights and lowlights for more variety. The benefit of highlights is that they look more natural, and they are much easier to deal with since, as your hair grows, they don't leave as noticable of a line because your natural color is there too. Please get them done professionally since you have dark hair - it cost more to get them fixed if you mess up than it does to get them done right the first time.

Ohola Chica,
Go to a hair salon and choose a color that is a shade or two lighter than your own natural hair, then add soft highlights, not too light, because you do not want to damage your hair. Have the stylist create a hair style that compliments your face and features.

You should come out look fabulous darling!!

You should get a new allover color that's 2-3 shades lighter or darker than your natural color. Then you should get highlights that coordinate with your new color. How's that for a major change? Good luck!

I would use light brown highlights, just make sure they aren't too chunky. With short hair, chunky highlights make you like have the hair cut from hell. Really thin, fine foil highlights will look great.

You just discribed ME!! I know how you feel. I would get highlights, just not bleached ones. It makes you look like a tiger. This happened to my best friend. Go for colors close to yours so it looks like it has depth. Hope this helps!!!

Highlights definately! I'm assuming your hair is dark, and if you go all one color your newgrowth will look more prominant! Good Luck!
