I have very long, thick, curly hair and wash it every day. When i do it seems that i get handfulls of hair that i am losing, and even more when i brush it. It is gross but when i am done i almost have a cupfull of hair that i lost. It has been doing this now for about a year now. I know i am not going bald since my hair is so thick but why am i losing so much of it?

I have medium brown hair with very little red in it, but however, its there. I also have very pale, pinkish skin color and blue eyes. I have dyed my hair at home for years, but I usually only highlight it, or dye it a darker brown. Right now it is my natural color. I want it to be a lighter ash brown, maybe almost a dark, dirty blonde. On the Revlon website they recommended I use natural light ash brown. This color "looked" like exactly what I want. I am wondering if anyone else had attempted this color and has any advice for me? Or are there any colorists who can give me advice? Do not answer if you are going to say go to a professional. I cannot afford that. Thanks for any helo you can give me!!

I have long sort of wavy hair, and I have been told that I have an oval shaped face. I have been thinking of doing my hair that way for a while now, but i'm not sure if I should. Once you get your hair cut with side swept bangs is it easy to put your hair into a pony tail, and can you easily clip your bangs back, because I have to have my hair up for sports. I'm really not sure but I want to change my hair, so opinions would be greatly appreciated.
