Probably not. Eyeliner is kind of tricky anyway and doesn't look good on most 13-year-olds. At your age, if you start wearing makeup, it should be subtle and natural, maybe a little lipgloss, a little blush or bronzer to perk up your color. You don't want to look like you're trying to look older than you really are. Talk to your mom about this. She may tell you that you look beautiful just as you are, but maybe she'd let you start wearing a little makeup for special occasions. Just remember, when it comes to makeup, the goal is to look like you're not wearing any makeup at all.

I happen to think that eyeliner is to extreme. (But, I'm eighteen, and I can't apply eyeliner to myself without poking myself in the eyes). I'd recommend asking for tinted moisturized (it kinda evens out the complection), and maybe blush, lip gloss, or roll on glitter. Mascara might also be okay. I'd pratice with the eyeliner at home, but probably not wear it out in public, yet.

well start by asking maybe a little bit of eyeshadow. then ask about a lite color eyeliner. gradually work your way up. if she says no don't through a fit it's the worst thing to do in that situation just ask at what age you can start wearing this stuff and set the date.

I am 13 and I wear eyeliner. You could ask your mom but don't get black as your first color..try a brown or blue. Personally, I prefer brown.

You may want to start with something a little more subtle, like lip gloss or sheer eyeshadow. Eyeliner is a pretty drastic change for someone who hasn't ever worn makeup!

Eyeliner is a drastic, but not very obvious, change. I have been wearing it since i was your age and my mother never saw anything wrong with it. Talk to her about it, chances are if your mother wears make-up she'll have no problem in letting you experiment as well.

Wear it nicely though, tell her that you will put it on and it won't look tacky and maybe she will let you. All moms are different so you might even spark a makeup shopping idea or she might repell against the idea. Only you will know. Let us know what she said ok?

Um, it all depends on how strict your parents are. Parents ALWAYS worry about their kids growing up and it's hard for them to sometimes let go. When i started to wear make up, my mom was so nervous and didn't like it. You kind of have to rebel against them to let them start to let go. They want you to be "their little kid forever." Your mother will have to understand and that you are growing up. To be honest, i don't think that she would have a problem with it. It's a great age to start. Good Luck!

Sweetie, you are beautiful as you are ! But a little blush now & then never hurt anyone. Have a delicious discussion & spill your guts to Mommy. My mommy always helped me with make-up trouble though I am a male. Hope I helped. Much Love, x0x J0SHUA x0x
