I've made papier mache heads, and I want to paint them so they stand out in the dark (this is for Halloween, of course). Any ideas?

Also, I'm a little worried that the newsprint will show through the paint. Would love tips on how to handle that.

Here in Salt Lake City, there's a Christmas fundraiser called "Festival of Trees", which benefits a local children's hospital. You submit a tree which is auctioned off, and the proceeds go to the hospital. I'm submitting a tree, and I'm going to use only diet coke cans and lights to decorate it. Please help me come up with the ideas for cutting, folding, or punching the cans and manipulating them into stunning decorations! Be descriptive - you can even email me at Lmevans79@yahoo.com if you want to submit a sketch or photograph. Thanks!

andy goldsworthy is an artist who had dealt with wood as sculptures and I just want to know what were his restrictions he might have had to consider while sculpting. Any ideas?

I bought some plates and they are painted but I'm assuming a final glaze was not applied b/c if I put liquid in the plates they soak it up, the paint does not run or anything like that but the plates soak up the water. How do I glaze them so that I can use them for everyday use?

You see a sculpture (or a picture of it) and without looking for information, or asking for a prompt, you instantly can say what the name of the sculpture is, and who the sculpturer was. What is it?
