I think its a bit ageist, how can the exhibition organisers justify this, I've got a degree in Fine Art and I'm an artist on the side and I only have one year or less till i'm 35 and I recently saw an advert for an exhibition, who's deadline had just gone for under 35's. I would have entered it next year because it was perfect for me, but I cant I'll be too old by the next one. How do they justify this ageism?

What is the name of the font in the words, "Boston Gazelle"? or any font similar to it? It`s the same font in every single link. Ten points to best answer! Thank you.

On the first two links, it looks like Bolton Gazelle, but it really reads Boston Gazelle so I just wanted to clear that up. The third link has a better view of the words.

I'm doing a stained glass project in my, well, stained glass class. I created a great design for a mermaid-mosaic, but considering it's a school project, I can't do a tasteful nude as I had anticipated. Does anyone have any ideas on how to cover her up?

Keep in mind, I'd like to stick to ocean-y elements, but I want to stay away from the overdone Disney clam shells.

How can you make a map look antique? A hand-drawn map, not a ready-made one. I saw a few pictures of antique maps, and I thought that the rosy hues for the countries and the yellowish, creased paper looked beautiful. Anybody know how I can
1) make the paper look yellowish and creased?
2) make the countries in pretty colors, yet still have pretty writing on it?

THANK YOU!!!

I made a movie file which required 3D modeling and animation, filming, compositing, playing and recording music, editing the video. I did it all myself. For the "job title" on my résumé, I'm not sure whether to say I was an animator or to say something that covers some of the other things I did. It was a freelance project.

Thanks!

Leon.

I am starting a small funky design agency in Athens Greece, I want to give it a short funky name but with meaning and essence. It will be a pretty eco-friendly design agency working with recycled paper and doing loads of recycling but I don't want a cheesy name! Obviously all the ones I have tried are already taken: 'Life by Design' , 'Green Designs' 'Mint' ....pretty stuck here! All suggestions welcome.

Hi, does anyone know how to make a fake cigaro or cigarette that looks like smoke is coming from it? I need to make one for my drama class, which I think would be pretty cool. Any help is appreciated.

I don't understand why some people can spend well over 10 minutes staring at a piece of art. I like art too, but it doesn't change from staring at it like a Magic Eye. Please explain!
