I know opaque means can't see through, but what does it mean when someone within the arts says, make sure you use opaque colors?

I'm a developing photographer, and the main issue I keep running into is where to shoot? Not that I'm not creative enough, I can shoot well anywhere. I sometimes shoot artistic nude and implied nude and that is not always a good idea outdoors. I don't have any friends that own a big warehouse or anything, any ideas on places that I can shoot?

I would like to get a job teaching English overseas and would like to have teaching certificate / university degree or transcript. These are not required, but a person with these documents can demand at least 15% more salary for the same job.

I would like to get in touch with an art or computer student to replicate some of these with my name on them. I have originals but want someone who knows how to scan, edit and print these out on the same stock of paper, etc....so that they would stand up to a mild examination.

What kind of student or university class would have the skills and equipment to do this?

Or any other ideas you might have?

BTW, in most instances this is something I would find absolutely unethical, but since these items are not pre-requisite, and only improve the ridiculously-low level of salary these schools pay, I see it as a pretty victimless crime. I understand if you do not agree.

Okay. I have been searching high and low for almost 3 months now. Does anyone know what painting this is?
http://www.muralsuperstore.com/catalog/manhattan_lights_4252614.htm
In the picture there is a painting above the fireplace.
It is not a DaVinci.
It is not from the Sistine Chapel.
I am out of ideas. Someone help.

I recently went to the Art Institute of Chicago and I saw these pictures... Uh... some of them were similar to each other, there was a desert background and there were bones and stuff in it. But it made no senses at all that i could see in my breif glance at it. it was in a catagory of where everything was just random and weird it seemed. well my question is where can i get pictures of these cool random pictures on the internet because i want to look at them more closely. thanks for any help at all people

I got it about a week ago. I went back to the artist and he told me it was brusihing but I habe never seen anything like his before. I just don't think it looks like bruishing. I guess I am asking what the bruishing should look like and how long should it take to go away.

I have recently had a painting that I own identified as an Egon Schiele 1912 oil painting. The frame appears to be a Viennese secessionist frame designed by Josef Hoffmann that has previously only been known to exist as a sketch. It is quite valuable. I do not intend on passing it down in my family as it was given to me by a friend who has long since passed away, and who had no other living relatives. I could put this onto the open auction market, as this man was a close friend and contemporary of Gustav Klimt whose painting of Adele Bloch Bauer sold for a record shattering $135 million, and make a handsome profit. On the other hand I fear that it could go into private ownership and never see the light of day again. I enjoy having it, but when this hits the papers there will likely be all manner of speculation about it. I am being asked to keep an open mind about letting it go into a traveling exhibition. If it were you, would you just sell it to anyone, or donate it to the world?

The monalisa has been around for a long time. Yet it is one of the most mentioned paintings. Unlike other paintings by leonardo, or any other artist of the reneissance, it is very known.

This is the story: last year I put my work in a critic and because of the great name, I won the gold key (top award). The piece was a found object sculpture, the bottom was a lamp and on the top, I removed the bulb and the cover thing and put in an elegant branch and called the piece enlightment. (purposefully mispelling it). Now I made a similar one, this one is just the light bulb wire and the head (no stand) and the branch is alot more thornier. These are some adjectives I can use to describe the piece: gloomy, murky, stark, etc. Basically, i need a really smart and beautiful name for this piece and am turning it in at on thursday, so pleace hurry. Also give several suggestions you think are good. TKZ alot in advance. I am reasking this question because I am adding some info and got extra time. My new piece is hanging from a pole. The wire is wrapped around the pole and then it is plugged in. So with the thorny place, it kinda looks like static. please don't use enlightment again

We purchased a large oil painting that is potentially fairly valuable...but it does need to be cleaned. It's prior owner was a heavy smoker and the painting looks like it is covered with yelllow cigarette smoke residue. Any suggestions for cleaning this at home??? Thank you.
